Maltese cross shaped, front adorned with a catouche in shape of a ball engraved with G J M monograms, reverse is decorated with S shaped branches and leaves and incused a commemoration date 1893 and hallmarks on the upper end.

It is in a semi globe shape, its lid engraved with AG monogram and it is hinged to the main body which works properly. Dimensions: 8.1cm (diameter at its widest) , 5cm tall. Body and lid stamped with British silver hallmarks. It has Chester assay office mark, F date letter for 1906 and lion passant for Gt.Britain, and HM makers mark for Henry Matthews of Vittoria Street, Birmingham, who was registered in 1894.
